Most irregular Friday night
Last night, Ash got into a small accident when she switched lanes without looking or signaling. We were on our way from Mars Bar to Kathy's car, so that Kathy, Sketch, and I could get into Kathy's car and follow Ash to Waffle House. Kyle and Josh were already on the way there. The lady cop rolling by stopped and took care of everything, not giving Ash a ticket nor filing the report so that Ash's mom's car insurance rates wouldn't go up. Kat called Kyle, and they came back.
As we stood there in the 37 degree weather, I noticed the following: Kyle was wearing REGULAR SHOES, not "triflin" flip-flops, joking around with Ash, Alla, and me. Alla was actually COLD, shivering and freezing. I gave her my new military jacket I bought earlier that day, because I was actually NOT COLD for the first time in my life. I was so nervous about Ashley's mom killing her, that I was HOT and QUIET for a while. Barefoot Sketch was on the phone. Joshy who swore to never talk to his ex again was somewhere in the background on the phone with his ex, having an argument. Ash, who is the strongest woman I know, was CRYING and wearing a red blanket around her, because she was freezing. She looked like the Pope with the bright red blanket draped over her shoulders like a cape. I snapped pictures of the Pope talking to Alla. Kat offered me her jacket and when I refused, forcefully put it on me. She was now jacketless, wearing just a short sleeved shirt, and kept running away when I tried to give her her jacket back. So then Ashley's cute mom pulled up to talk to the cop, as the car's in her name. She saw the Pope standing there surrounded by Alla and me and Josh who wouldn't get off of Ash, lol. Kyle smiling near by and Sketch invisible in her black jacket with a hood over her head blending into the background, we were all there for Ash. Ashley's mom said nothing about her daughter wearing a red blanket and Joshy's tiny jacket on top of that blanket. There was something comical about a girl walking around with a straight serious face, wearing a brightly colored blanket, and a small ass jacket on top, with converse sneaks sticking out from under the blanket. Everyone refused to sit in their cars, everyone insisted on being outside, so that we could be with Ashley. Then it was all over.... Then we all went to Waffle House and ate like there was no tomorrow. I even licked my plate, which Kathy now has a picture of.
