This page is dedicated to Sandra R. Heims, my best friend forever. I don't think I have ever met anyone quite like her. In a lot of aspects, she is so much like me. And yet we're very different in other aspects, which lets us not get bored with one another... We live sort of far away from each other, but we manage to make time to hang out. And starting this fall, we will be attending the same university, which hopefully will make it easier to see each other. My zodiac sign is Leo, hers is an Aquarius. Typically, this is the best kind of friendship. We're a lot like siblings minus the fighting. I trust her with everything in the world. We come from different cultures which unites us, because we are similar enough to understand one another, yet different enough not to compete. No matter what, I will always have Sandra, and she will always have me.

I have known Sandra since April of 2006, or for 2 years and 4 months as of today. We've had our ups and downs - things haven't always been perfect - but in the end, we're just too drawn to each other to let anything separate us for good. A childhood friend introduced me to Sandra one day, right after my card reading told me I were to make a new friend. I met lots of people that week, that month... But none of them quite stood out in my memory like Sandra did - and I always unmistakably knew that Sandra was the one whom my cards told me about. It was a sunny April day when we met. She came over to Alla's apartment and we both teased Alla so much that we just instantly bonded. All three of us joked, laughed, talked that day... And my the seed of our friendship was planted in my heart.

Sandra is known by Rain because of her passion for the said precipitation. Her sign is Aquarius and she loves to explore all the properties of her sign and display all sorts of Aquarius pride. :) She loves photography, hanging out with friends, philosophy, animals, good books, sappy anime, music she can sing along with, Battle Star Galactica, card reading, unique jewelry, her family, CSI, and Desperate Housewives. She likes to mix chocolate syrup into her milk and worships chocolate in general; in fact, CHOCOLATE was her first word. She loves gemstones, seashells, and stuffed animals (especially ponies). Her room is very eccentric and awesome. Sandra is a good student, and a person with an extensive online life. However, she has her share of yard work and tumbling with her two younger sisters/monsters. Everything about Sandra is usually unique. She is a very cultural person; and she is half Azerbajanish Iranian and half American with German, English, and Pottawatomie Indian traces. She is definitely a very family oriented person, with very close ties to her mom, sisters, and her dad. Sandra is inquisitive and sweet, generous and smart. She can be shy or silly, and is very likable. She also sings very well and cooks very delicious noodles!

In my old MySpace blogs which I was addicted to in 2006, there is an entry about Sandra dated July of 2006, however it still rings true. This is what it says:

"Sandra is amazingly intelligent and deep. She's a very loyal friend and will be there for people when they need her, even after everyone else has turned their backs on them.
Every time it rains at night, I make excuses to go outside, 'cause I am usually at work. So I tell the managers I am "taking the trash out" and head out to run around in the rain, taking out trash (faker trash half the time) and enjoying the cool droplets on my face. And I always think of Sandra, the way she always talks about the rain. Like me, Sandra loves storms, gemstones and astronomy. Sandra makes amazing jewelry that will just totally blow your mind. She can fix a lot of random things, she's very handy. She cooks good chicken wings. Sandra takes care of her autistic baby sister and it's just incredible how patient and understanding she is. She'll make such a good mother! I will even trust her with my future kids, and I won't trust anyone with them besides myself and my mom. In this life, Sandra's so unsure of so many things, but she's loving and funny and she will find her way eventually. "
